Bowl of Light

"Each child has at birth, a Bowl of perfect Light. If he tends his Light, it will grow in strength, and he can do all things - swim with the shark, fly with the birds, know and understand all things.  If, however, he becomes envious or jealous, he drops a stone into his Bowl of Light, and some of the Light goes out. Fall is fully here. The leaves are changing colors with urgency, the nights are getting colder, and the days are cooler. With fall comes the time to go inward and reflect on things that went well and things that don't serve us any more.  It is the time of letting go.

Laughter As Medicine

In July, I went on a vision quest with the Lightsong School of Shamanic Studies and Energy Medicine. It was a profound experience, filled with prayer, healing and creating a new way of being in the world.
During that time, I received a message that we are all too serious and taking things too seriously. The spirits were saying that we need to lighten up and laugh a lot as laughter is a medicine! They were encouraging us to laugh as children laugh, with open hearts and with our whole body.

There is a lot of research going on out there on how laughter affects us and our bodies. There are data showing that laughter is stress releasing, it can boost the immune system, stimulate internal organs, help with pain relief and etc. - you can read more about it on Mayo Clinic's web site.

Sometimes it is not easy to laugh as there are so many things that weigh us down but with the help of Reiki and other energy work techniques you can release all those wounds, worries, stress and other things that are weighing you down. With Reiki you can open yourself up to laugh again as a child.

Laugh, laugh a lot and you will see the world in different colors!

Mama Time

Becoming a parent is one of the most demanding and most rewarding "jobs". Once we become parents, most of us at least, tend to put ourselves on the back burner.  We focus so much of ourselves, our energy on our children. We fret over our parenting style; spend nights awake tending to them. We worry about their health, their schooling, their friends. We worry about their experiences and the amount of sugar they will be exposed to...not to mention all the tasks that we successfully deal with everyday like work, cleaning, cooking and worrying some more. Exhausting!

So let me ask you - when was the last time you took time for yourself to recharge your batteries? When was the last time that everything was all about you? Spending the day reading, going to a coffee shop or book store without any agenda but just because you felt like it; getting a manicure or a pedicure; hanging out with a good friend; getting a massage; getting a Reiki session - are all ways that we can take care of ourselves. Massage relaxes the body, Reiki relaxes your body and your soul.

By the way, have you ever treated yourself to Reiki? In a session you release tension, frustration and the stress of your everyday.  Reiki relaxes you and at the same time energetically refills you and makes you stronger - it regenerates you. It fills you up with patience, love and light so that you can show up for yourself and your family in a new state of mind.

Angel Reading/Healing

This month I am offering a donation based Angel Reading/Healing so I thought that it would be nice if I described what happens during this session.

As a preparation, you should think about the issues that you are working on or that are coming up for you so that you are ready to ask questions from your helpers.

To start the session, I use distant Reiki to relax and open you up for receiving healing and information. Next we look at the Angel cards and listen to the messages that come from them and then we dive into bringing the Angel energy directly to you - then you will be able to ask for guidance from the Archangel that is with you at that time.

Erasing Karma

Everything is energy - our bodies, thoughts, words, feelings, the world around us.  Relationships that we have with ourself, other fellow human beings, places, spaces, emotions - all carry energy.  The more energy we put into a relationship the bigger the energetic structure we create and depending on the energy that we put into these relationships, we create our Karma.

The Egyptian Forgiveness Ceremony* is a beautiful ceremony that addresses karma.  In this ceremony we name people, places, emotions, institutions and we cut the energetic cords to them. Children, Dentists, Reiki

As a mother of two boys, I have my fair share of dentist visits. Check ups, broken teeth emergency appointments, pulling out teeth... we've seen it all. Some of these visits were easy and some of them were nerve racking, especially before I started using Reiki for each trip to the dentist.
My older son had a very traumatic experience when he was just a toddler and ever since he has been afraid of the dentist. It doesn't matter that the new dentist is the nicest one on earth, he just hasn't wanted to cooperate... until I started using Reiki.
One day when we were getting ready for the dreaded check up, I realized that I can send Reiki ahead of time to wait for my son and start working on him when we are there. That experience was life changing. He allowed the dentist to "tickle"- clean his teeth, they took x-rays - we were on a roll!
Each time we return, it gets a little better, the dentist gets to do a little more.

Recently, I worked with a 4 year old who had an emergency root canal and they did it without putting him under. You can just imagine how he felt while they had to hold him down so that the dentist could successfully finish the procedure. His mom contacted me immediately after it and I recommended a soul retrieval and Reiki. The Soul retrieval ceremony* was beautiful. It brought back to the little one all the soul essences that he lost because of the stressful event and Reiki nurtured him and sped up the healing. A week later they had to go back and he was just fine, no fear, no screaming, no resentment. He sat in the chair, let the dentist look at his teeth - the whole experience was smooth and easy.

Akashic Reading

For a while I heard the call of the Akashic Records yet I did not answer it. The months went by and I checked out lots of different websites with practitioners offering readings, I even wrote down their phone numbers yet never followed up on calling them. One day I felt guided to check out Linda Howe's book  - How to Read the Akashic Records. A few months later, here I am - practicing Akashic Record reading.

The Akashic Records are a body of knowledge that hold everything that every soul ever thought, said or did during its existence. It also contains all the future possibilities.
Through specific prayers we can access the Records and thus we can access all the knowledge that they hold. The Records share their wisdom and give guidance and healing for those who seek it.
While working with the Akashic Records, I feel loved and supported and I can feel their love for all of us. Also I notice that as we seek guidance, a healing is happening on energetic and physical levels. I can also see the Records rearranging as we make different choices. They are not static and the future is not set in stones.
Another thing that I realized in this process of learning about the Akashic Records is that I had already been accessing the Records while doing Reiki sessions, I just didn't know what they were. Now, when I work with Reiki, I can recognize what information comes from the Akashic Records.

Reiki and a Wedding

I spent the last couple of weeks in New York. The first week was busy with preparations for Phaedra (my sister-in-law) and Joe's wedding. It was really beautiful to see how this event brought together families and friends who wanted to help make this wedding amazing. There was lots of sewing, cooking and baking involved in the process. Still there was room for fun and laughter, too.

As the days went by, I could see the strain that the pace brought to some people and I was really happy when they asked for energetic support. I would send them Reiki so that they could relax and sleep during night or I worked on them between tasks, extracting stress and pain; refilling the chakras. It was great to be able to help in this unique way.

Another thing I got really excited about was - Phaedra asked me if I would imbue their wedding rings with Reiki. It was an amazing experience to open the door to Reiki and connect it to the rings. I could feel the Reiki radiating from the rings and then I decided to connect them to my Reiki grid. Once the connection is established, their rings will be empowered every time I recharge my grid. It is like rebooting your computer. There will be more power and energy available. Now  Joe and Phaedra will be able to receive a steady flow of Reiki through their wedding bands for as long as the bands exist. The rings are representing their love and commitment to each other and they also represent a connection to a healing and loving energy that is there to support them on their journey together.

Angel Healing

I feel like it's been a very long time since I connected with you through my blog. I have to admit that I went through a huge learning and growth spurt. I attended classes that took me deeper into understanding the complexity of healing the soul, like the soul retrieval class, and at the same time I have been deepening my own practice and relationship with the angels and the archangels.  I have been practicing angel healing, getting better at listening and channeling messages from the angels.

Angel healings are very beautiful and powerful. The Angels' energy has a high vibration and depending on which archangel comes in it has a different color, too. Most of the time they relay messages to those that are receiving the healing, which helps to bring about a shift in behavior, emotions or thinking patterns. Their love and caring is palpable in these sessions.
Another way to receive messages from the angels is through reading. I use angel cards and listen to their messages for each person. You can ask specific questions and they will give you guidance that will serve the highest good. While I do the reading the client gets a healing too, as asking for a reading is also an invitation for a healing.
Recently, I started fusing Reiki with the angel energy and the results are just wonderful. While Reiki opens up the gates of the universal life force energy and works on removing blocks and low frequency energies from the body, it also allows the angel energy to come in in a stronger and deeper way. To me personally, it feels that Reiki works on the general well being and that the angel energy works on addressing the specific ailments in the physical, emotional or mental body.
Angels are so full of love for us and they are here for us. Just ask them to help you and they will. Don't forget that we have free will and the angels would never overstep it so you have to invite them to help you. When you ask, it is a signal for them to step in and help. So if you decide to call in their help you can say something like this:
"Thank you, my guardian angels for watching over me and my trip, and helping me get to my destination in a safe and timely fashion for the most benevolent outcome." or  "Angels and archangels, thank you for helping me get this job or something better." Play with the words, listen to your heart and soon you will find your own way of connecting to the angels. Have fun in the process.
